Round 1
Brennis Ox unloads on the Hyaku Shiki, it’s giant bazooka cares not for the golden Anti-Beam Coating. Shiki burns through Momentum
Hyaku Shiki ignores Brennis and tries to kill off a Gelgoog Jager on the high ground. It burns through Momentum to survive. The Gelgoog Jager returns fire, and Shiki’s Anti-BC holds strong.
The Zeon player begins moving Zakus waiting for the Rick Dias to come into the open, the Nemo takes the high ground
The Rick Dias attacks Kampfer who effortlessly evades. Kampfer fires back but the Rick Dias just as easily evades until its Shotgun tags it The 2nd Rick Dias attacks the Kampfer who has burned through more than a few momentum at this point
A Dom takes a long shot at Rick Dias who evades it. MK-II uses its clay bazooka on the Kampfer who uses the Untouchable trait to avoid it
The Filius Stream’ Galbady Alpha takes a great shot at a Rick Dias who dumps Momentum to avoid dying.
M’Quve moves up (all of this Round he’s been detonating hide bombs at the enemy)

Round 2
AEUG is up first, MK-II continues his onslaught on the Kampfer and firing its Clay Bazooka and beam rifle. It manages to avoid the clay bazooka but a single beam rifle shot hits it and the armor save renders it a smoking crater.
The Gyan is up next, its needle missiles score 9 Hits on the wounded Rick Dias who needs to burn through Momentum to survive.
But in a twist of fate the Gyan gets critically hit on Overwatch from the Rick Dias beam pistols and out of Momentum the cockpit gets vaporized.
It gets worse for the Zeon player. That Rick Dias activates and shoots the Galbady Alpha who is also critically hit and out of momentum explodes. The RD then hides behind LOS cover.
The Dom takes a pot shot burning off a Federation momentum then retreats. This flank seems pretty hopeless for the Zeon player.
Breniss Ox is next and focus fires its bazooka at Hyaku Shiki. 6 unlucky hits spells the end for the Hyaku Shiki. The AEUG player was regretting saving the Rick Dias and losing the Shiki, ah the life of no Momentum. Speaking of which, the Hyaku Shiki gives M+3 when destroyed.
A Nemo jumps to the center high ground
The Gelgoog Jager leaves its perch and moves to the midfield to let the Nemo know he walked into Crit City (a subsidiary of Circuit City) after 8 Hits and two failed armor saves the Nemo was no more.

Round 3
Zeon is up first and the Gelgoog Jager fires into Gundam MK II scoring several hits.
Kamille use return fire for a bonus hit on the Gelgoog Jager and shaves off some momentum, but knowing they will soon be overrun fires his beam rifle pierces through a Zaku destroying it.
A Dom is up next with a very gallant turn, it uses its flash to blind the Rick Dias and fires its bazooka burning off Momentum, then on Melee it rolls an amazing 8 hits on 7 dice thanks to some criticals, the Rick Dias manages to block only 3 before the heat saber takes its head off.
The dice are not with the AEUG today.
Or are they? The Rick Dias comes out and its clay bazooka blows up a Zaku, it then scores 8 hits in Melee to the Dom’s 0 Blocks cleaving through it and avenging Apolly

Round 4
AEUG is up first. Kamille activates and goes for the gold, he had declared Revenge earlier when LT Quattro was defeated and now uses it against Brennis Ox taking him out. He goes for melee against the Gelgoog Jager but he has just enough momentum to skill defense and parry.
The Gelgoog Jager is up next, it doesn’t have any momentum to disengage and attack and so is stuck in melee. It scores 7 Hits on attack but is blocked by Kamille who finishes him off on counterattack.
“Another pointless death” mutters Kamille.
A Zaku attacks a Rick Dias from behind bring him down to his final 100 HP
On the Rick Dias turn its bazooka takes out a Zaku on the high ground but it is unfortunately killed in Overwatch, lot of bad overwatch rolls this game.

Round 5
Kamille is up first and snipes the Zaku before it has a chance to react.

While it seemed like a completely hopeless match at one point thanks to some really poor rolls on the AEUGs side, they made some critical choices that helped get them out of the hole in Round 3 & 4.
Had Zeon won initiative in Round 4 there was a very high chance either Breniss Ox or Shin Matsunaga would have finished off Kamille. That would have given them +7VP and the AEUG would have lost 4VP. Additionally their two aces would have survived so the AEUG would not have scored those 11VP and the bonus 4VP for the Commander and Zeon would not have lost 4VP for their pilots. In this scenario the final score would have been Zeon 22VP to the AEUGs 19VP.
As it turns out if you keep fighting till the end you can still snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
This was the first game in the platest series, in the follow-on games Kamille with the Decimator Trait or Quattro with Resourceful led to some large AEUG victories. On the Zeon side Kampfer with Commando was extremely effective and its shotgun took out Hyaku Shiki twice. Rallying Leader unfortunately lost to Kamille’s Decimator.
