Space Battleship is a long running and beloved series in Japan and worldwide and such it has quite a lot of merchandise out there, not to mention some superb garagekits and scratch builds over the years including very impressive massive Yamato builds both by fans and by the show staff.
For this post I’ll be including several links to “ourstarblazers” a Star Blazers site run by giga-fan Tim Eldred, his site is a great resource for those who really love Yamato/Star Blazers. I do not have a huge collection of Yamato figures so many of the photos in this post are pulled from Tim’s site.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone,
We have been hard at work to prepare a large December update along with a balance patch. We have a large expansion of the VER10 unit roster, updates to the Core Rules regarding Morale rules, Commander’s orders, and a new tier of pilots, the “Battle-Tested Pilot” which is in between a basic pilot and a skilled pilot in power and VP cost. Lastly, we’ve put in the midnight oil this last week and updated the first half of the MechaStellar Wargaming supplement. This document adds in the Objective Secured gametype as well a large expansion of the upgrade rules for MechaStellar.

As promised here’s the October update delayed by one week. A lot of the last month has been spent on testing, updating the various combat roles to provide some more differentiation between them, points / balance updates, and updates to Size & HP which had a large impact on Warships and the now released jets and tanks.
