MechaStellar Monthly Roster Update – FEB2025 – VER10 Turn A Gundam + GBF Rules

Hello everyone, I hope everyone had a great February, it’s a busy month for us and so a slow period for MechaStellar updates. This month we are updating Turn A Gundam to VER10, added a few more from Gundam X and we also have the long awaited Gundam Build Fighter rules being updated to VER10. These rules allow you to field your kitbashed mobile suits.

MechaStellar Monthly Roster Update – JAN2025 – GoLion (Voltron), GoShogun, Bryger and Baxinger

Hello everyone, for the last few months we’ve been very busy working on MechaStellar VER10 and we finally updated all the Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Century Mobile Suits to VER10. Well, it’s time to spread the wealth with our Super Robot fans too. This month we have converted some additional Super Robots to VER10 including the much beloved Big O. We’ve also added in 4 new Super Robots.

MechaStellar VER10 – Stress Test – Warships

Stellar Warships have come a long way since VER8. They’ve gone through several different styles of gameplay until eventually have their turns plays out the same as any of mecha unit in the game. VER10 continues to streamline Warships by having their profiles mirror those of the Kaiju with very high HP but poor evasion and the special Havoc stat that lets them blow apart cover.

MechaStellar DEC 2024 Roster Update

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone,

We have been hard at work to prepare a large December update along with a balance patch.  We have a large expansion of the VER10 unit roster, updates to the Core Rules regarding Morale rules, Commander’s orders, and a new tier of pilots, the “Battle-Tested Pilot” which is in between a basic pilot and a skilled pilot in power and VP cost.  Lastly, we’ve put in the midnight oil this last week and updated the first half of the MechaStellar Wargaming supplement.  This document adds in the Objective Secured gametype as well a large expansion of the upgrade rules for MechaStellar.

MechaStellar VER10 Preview – Weapons

In our previous post we talked about a lot of the feedback we’ve got from playtesters in VER10 and the steps we’re taking to resolve some of the current issues. We also had a novel request to have Barrage affect the dice roll in the same way that Bullseye currently affects the die roll. Our proposed solution was to allow Bullseye to give +2d10 Shots when used, but in order to do that we’d have to rebalance the current weapons to ensure that the majority of weapons were less than 8d10 to take advantage of this request. We’ve finished up the weapon rebalance and wanted to share a few Dev insights when it came to this weapon rebalance.
